Try using the Disk Utility, which is located in the /Applications/Utilities folder to see if the utility can 'see' this drive. The following is a screenshot of my Mac mini's drives as seen in this utility. See if you can provide a similar image of yours. What I would be interested in would be to click on the iOmega drive (assuming it appears.
