One of the common issue with Skype for business has always been with regards to the microphone not working during calls. There have been various instances on the internet where Skype users have complained about their microphones not working and have been looking for a possible fix for the same. Skype for Business Mac Client Status Message, Issue? After installing the latest Skype for Business Client on MacOS Sierra, the Status message is pre filled with the word Note. All contacts see me, without any Status message. If I click on the field, the status message is, then set to “ Note ”, even if I then click somewhere (not OK). Log out and quit Skype for Business. Go to Finder press Command+Shift+G type in /users//library delete the following files: Containers com.microsoft.SkypeForBusiness. Internet Plug-Ins MeetingJoinPlugin.plugin.
